General Body Meetings / Professional Development Sessions                     

We provide monthly professional development presentations for our membership. These presentations are based on topics that directly or indirectly impact a Sea Service Officer's career and aim to inform our local Tidewater population (military and civilian) at-large.  We also facilitate mentoring by matching junior officers with experienced officers motivated to support their professional growth.

Harbor Park Fundraiser   

NNOA coordinates the volunteer efforts of multiple organizations during the Norfolk Tides Harbor Park Homestands to raise funds to support the financial responsibilities of the Chapter to include college scholarship awards for local Hampton Roads high school students.  All picnic events are held at Harbor Park in the picnic area and concession stand during the Norfolk Tides baseball season, which runs from April to September.   Family and friends are welcome.  A little time goes a long way so come out and show your support!
